Frozen Lemonade

So, I am sure everyone is familiar with the old saying, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade."  The jacket I am wearing in this post if precisely one of those, "lemonade," moments.  It all began with me purchasing a, not so inexpensive, Cynthia Vincent purse from ebay.   Upon the first time carrying the much anticipated bag, its' thin suede material completely tore at the handle.  I suddenly found myself wondering, just how much crap am I carrying?  To my total dismay the brand new, did I mention not so inexpensive, purse was now totally nonfunctional.
This is when I found myself automatically going into salvage mode.  I still loved the bright tribal graphic on the bag and desperately wanted to save something of my purchase.  That's when it came to me, cut it up and sew it as patches on an old camouflage jacket I had thrifted earlier that month.  The product of this idea is shown in the photos above.  I must say I almost like my upcycled jacket more than the original purse!  Who knew lemonade would be this satisfying in January?
